Description

A V-shaped arc of light, set to rest at the collarbone like a quiet declaration. The Facelet draws its silhouette from the bold geometry favoured in Rajasthani party jewellery, where brass becomes the foundation for something far more luminous. Spanning five and a half inches (approximately 14 centimetres) across and standing less than an inch (roughly 1.8 centimetres) in height, this piece works within a deliberately contained scale, letting the stone studding do the speaking. Faceted stones, set close along the V-formation, catch and redirect light with each movement, giving the brass frame a brilliance that belies its modest weight. The brass itself is finished to a warm, golden tone, the kind that recalls the workshop lanes of Jaipur, where artisans have long understood how to coax ceremony from everyday metal. The stone setting follows a line-and-cluster logic that is festive without being overburdened. Wear it against the drape of a silk kurta at a mehendi or engagement gathering, where it reads as considered and celebratory in equal measure. It is equally well suited to a structured blazer and cigarette trousers for an evening occasion that calls for something with cultural weight rather than convention. The free-size fit and light construction make it comfortable for extended wear through a long evening. The brass resists everyday knocks well. Store away from moisture to preserve the finish, and this piece will move gracefully between seasons and occasions without losing its composure.
