Description

He carries the mountain, and now he rests at your throat. Veera Anjaneyar, the warrior aspect of Hanuman Ji, is rendered here in sterling silver with the devotional gravity the form demands. The obverse captures him mid-stride, mace in hand, in the posture of fierce, unconditional service. Flip the pendant and the sacred syllable OM emerges in clean relief, a second universe contained within the same one-inch (approximately 2.5 cm) circle. This is the tradition of the two-sided devotional pendant, well established in temple jewellery practice from Nagercoil to the silver-working ateliers of Jaipur, where craftsmen have long understood that a single piece can hold multiplicity. Weighing just five grams, the pendant is worked in sterling silver with a matte-meets-burnished finish that catches light without clamouring for attention. The bail is generously proportioned, suited to a range of chains. Wear it on a simple black silk cord for everyday prayer or quiet contemplation. For a festive occasion, string it on a fine sterling silver box chain alongside a cotton handloom kurta in ivory or saffron; the silver reads as devotion rather than decoration. At one inch in diameter, the pendant is compact enough to sit flush against the chest without weight or bulk. The sterling silver will develop a soft, lived-in patina over time; a gentle silver cloth restores its brightness when desired. Free size, suitable for all.
