Description

There are evenings when the sky holds two lights at once, and this pendant was made for exactly that hour. Set in sterling silver, the Twin Rainbow Moonstone Pendant pairs two oval moonstones side by side, each catching adularescence the way still water holds a reflected moon. Between and around them, faceted blue topaz lends a cooler, more certain blue, a counterpoint to the soft, shifting iridescence of the moonstones. The silhouette is slim and vertical, measuring 1.5 inches (approximately 3.8 cm) in height and 0.4 inches (approximately 1 cm) in width, the stones bezel-set in polished sterling silver that keeps the overall weight to just 4 grams. This is silversmithing in the quieter, more meditative tradition, closer in sensibility to the lapidary workshops of Jaipur that have long understood how to let a stone speak rather than overpower it.
