Description

There are prayers that do not require a temple, only intention and the right adornment. This two-piece set pairs a slender Trayambakam lapel pin, rising three inches (7.6 cm) at its tallest and barely three-quarters of an inch (1.8 cm) wide, with a bolder Om brooch measuring two and a third inches (5.8 cm) in height and nearly two inches (4.8 cm) across. Both are cast in brass, a metal long favoured in devotional craft across India for its warmth and its willingness to hold fine detail without the weight of heavier alloys. The Trayambakam pin renders the three-eyed Shiva invocation in a form that is linear and considered, its contours clean rather than ornate. The Om brooch carries the sacred syllable with more presence, its curves recalling the embossed brasswork traditions of temple towns where artisans have shaped devotional motifs for generations. Together, the set weighs forty-one grams, distributed comfortably between two closures. Wear the brooch anchoring the drape of a silk sari at the shoulder for a puja, a wedding ceremony, or a festival morning. The lapel pin sits equally well on a fine wool sherwani or a structured linen blazer at a cultural evening or family gathering. Both pieces are free-sized and require no adjustment. The brass finish is robust enough for regular wear and responds well to a soft dry cloth. The standard pin-and-clasp closures hold securely without distorting delicate fabric.
