There are stones that seem to hold light the way amber holds an ancient world inside it. Tiger eye has been prized across craft traditions for precisely that quality: its silken, shifting lustre, the way a single oval cabochon can appear gold, then rust, then deep sienna depending on the hour. Here, the stone is set in sterling silver, its oval form held within a structured bezel that lets the chatoyancy speak without interference. The silhouette is architectural rather than ornate, a broad oval face rising twenty-one millimetres from the finger, the silver worked to a smooth, polished finish that keeps the eye travelling back to the stone rather than away from it. Weighing ten grams, the ring has a presence you feel on the hand, not heaviness, but intention. It is available in sizes 8.5 and 9.
