Description

There are prayers older than language, and this pendant carries one of them. The syllable Om, rendered here in the ancient Tibetan script that gave the sound its most sacred visual form, sits at the heart of a sterling silver pendant small enough to rest close to the collarbone. The inlay work draws colour into the silver ground with careful precision, each fill of resin or stone-set hue contained within raised silver walls that follow the glyph's curves. At 1.3 inches tall and 0.8 inches wide (approximately 3.3 cm by 2 cm), and weighing just 2 grams, the piece has the quiet confidence of something that does not need to announce itself. Tibetan and Himalayan silverwork has long understood restraint: ornamentation serves the symbol, not the other way around. Wear it on a fine silver chain over a cream linen kurta for quiet daily devotion, or layer it against a midnight-blue silk blouse at a festival gathering where heritage jewellery speaks without effort. The pendant's compact silhouette means it neither competes with statement earrings nor disappears beneath a dupatta. The bail is sized for standard chain widths, making it easy to move between a delicate rope chain and a slightly heavier link. The sterling silver body is durable enough for everyday wear and cool against the skin. Free-sized and complete as shown, it arrives ready to carry meaning wherever you go.
