Description

Where the roof of the world meets the jeweller's hand, the dragon coils into silver. Carved in sterling silver and rising to a height of thirty-five millimetres, this ring carries the full visual weight of Tibetan iconography without any of its usual heaviness. The dragon, a creature revered across the Himalayan plateau as a guardian of elemental forces, is rendered here in high-relief casting, its scales and claws articulated with a precision that rewards close attention. A deep-red garnet sits at the centre, faceted to catch light and held within a simple bezel that keeps the stone flush against the body of the ring. The silver itself has been given an oxidised finish, deepening the recesses of the carving so every ridge reads with clarity. At eleven grams, the piece has genuine presence on the finger without becoming cumbersome. Sterling silver at this gauge holds its form and its detail through daily wear. Pair it with a raw-silk kurta in charcoal or slate for an evening that calls for quiet authority. Worn against a plain linen salwar in cream or sand, the garnet reads almost like a drop of pomegranate against winter cloth. Available in size seven, the ring fits a standard Indian medium finger. The oxidised sterling silver will deepen gradually with wear, a natural patina that only improves the carved detail. A gentle polish with a soft cloth restores brightness wherever you prefer it.
