Description

Three Ganeshas, and the prayer is already answered before it is spoken. Sterling silver, worked to a matte or oxidised finish that suits devotional iconography, carries here not one but three aspects of Vighnaharta rendered side by side in a single horizontal panel. The pendant measures 4.19 cm in height by 5.08 cm in width, a composition broad enough to honour each form with its own posture and expression, yet balanced in weight at 13.4 grams so the bail sits flush and still against the chest. This kind of multi-form Ganesha panel belongs to a long tradition of auspicious silver work found across temple-town silversmiths from Nagercoil to Nathdwara, where the repetition of a sacred figure is not redundancy but amplification, each rendering deepening the sanctity of the whole. The silver's cool lustre, unmarked by gilding or stone, lets the repoussé or cast detailing speak without distraction. Wear it on a matte silk cord for a morning puja look that transitions naturally into a handloom day dress or a fine cotton kurta. For a festive evening, thread it onto a sterling chain at mid-chest length and let it anchor a Kanjivaram or a chanderi weave with quiet gravitas. Sized as a free-size pendant, it suits most frame types without adjustment. The sterling silver construction means it is robust enough for regular devotional wear, and a soft cloth buff restores its surface after daily contact with skin.
