Description

Where Vrindavan breathes in brass, devotion takes the shape of a brooch. The divine pair of Radha and Krishna has inspired Indian craftsmen for centuries, and this piece carries that long tradition in a form worn close to the heart. Cast in brass and finished to a warm antique tone, the brooch depicts the celestial couple in a composition approximately seven centimetres in both height and width, a generous, almost medallion-like silhouette that commands attention without excess. Coloured stones are set directly into the surface in a style that recalls the stone-studded devotional jewellery long associated with temple traditions across Rajasthan and the workshops of Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu, where sacred imagery is translated into wearable form with particular reverence. At forty-six grams, the piece carries a satisfying, considered weight, and the brass takes a depth of finish that reads as rich amber against natural or ivory fabrics. Worn pinned at the centre of a silk chanderi dupatta for a puja or a festival gathering, it anchors the whole look with quiet spiritual intention. It works with equal grace on the breast pocket of a handloom kurta at a cultural evening or an intimate family celebration, where the motif becomes a conversation in itself. The brooch is offered in a single free size and fastens with a standard pin closure that sits securely against most fabrics. The brass construction requires no special care beyond keeping it away from moisture and direct perfume.
