Description

There is a quietness to silver that gold cannot replicate, a cool, reflective stillness that lets the stone speak first. This round pendant is shaped from sterling silver, its circular form one of the oldest gestures in Indian jewellery, evoking the sun, the coin, the sacred disc. At its heart sits a cabochon of either green onyx or turquoise, each stone chosen for its depth of colour and its long history in the craft traditions of Rajasthan, where silver and semi-precious stones have been paired for centuries by artisans working out of Jaipur and Bikaner. The bezel setting holds the stone firmly within a smooth silver border, allowing the colour to pool at the centre without distraction. The finish is polished, catching light cleanly. Weighing just four grams and measuring one inch (approximately 2.5 cm) in diameter, the pendant is compact without being insignificant. It arrives in free size, suited to any chain you already love.
