Description

There is a particular stillness to silver when it holds a stone with nothing to prove. This ring is built around a single round-cut gemstone, offered in smoky quartz or crystal, set cleanly into a sterling silver bezel that lets the stone speak without interruption. The silhouette is quiet and architectural: a low-profile band rising to a modest 0.32 inches (approximately 0.81 cm) at its tallest point, the whole piece weighing just 1.5 grams on the hand. Sterling silver, worked without gilt or oxidisation here, carries the honest grey warmth that Indian silversmiths have long favoured for everyday fine pieces. Smoky quartz brings a cool, almost smoky translucence; crystal keeps the palette bright and undemanding. The bezel setting, snug and precise, protects the stone while framing it with a thin rim of silver that catches light along its edge. Wear the smoky quartz version with a fine Maheshwari cotton sari in slate or blush, letting its muted depth anchor a soft palette.
