Description

There are jewels that need no occasion, only intention. This sterling silver pendant carries the quiet confidence of a tradition that has long found beauty in restraint. The piece is set with three gemstones, ruby, emerald and sapphire, arranged in a composition that draws on the vocabulary of classic Indian silverwork without announcing itself too loudly. Each stone is held in a silver mount that allows the light to pass through cleanly, the deep pigeon-red of the ruby, the cool forest-green of the emerald and the layered blue of the sapphire reading as a quiet chromatic argument. At one inch in height and just over half an inch in width (approximately 2.5 cm by 1.5 cm), with a depth of roughly 0.8 cm, it sits close to the collarbone.
