Description

There is a quietness to black onyx that silver has always understood. Set in sterling silver, this pendant carries a single cabochon of black onyx within a crafted bezel that frames the stone with the clean confidence of restraint. The silhouette rises to approximately 1.2 inches (3 cm) in height and narrows to 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) in width, a slender proportion that sits close to the throat without competing for attention. At 5 grams, the weight is perceptible but never burdensome. The silver itself has been worked to a smooth finish, letting the cool, lacquered depth of the onyx dominate.
