Description

This sterling silver pendant carries a single tiger eye gemstone set within a slim, elongated silver frame, its silhouette rising to just under three centimetres in height and barely half a centimetre across. The stone itself does what tiger eye always does: it shifts between amber, gold and deep sienna depending on where the light falls, a quality jewellers call chatoyance, the same cat's-eye luminosity that has made this semi-precious stone prized across Indian and Central Asian adornment traditions for centuries. The silver setting is worked to a clean, polished finish with close bezel or collet construction that protects the stone while keeping the profile lean at just two and a half millimetres in depth. Weighing a spare 4.8 grams, the pendant sits light against the collarbone, the metal cool and substantial without bulk.
