Description

There are devotions that go beyond prayer, carried close to the body in silver and seed. This pendant brings together two of Hinduism's most sovereign images: Lord Vishnu, the preserver, rising in serene authority above the coiled canopy of Sheshnaga, the cosmic serpent whose thousand hoods shelter creation itself. Cast in sterling silver and hand-finished to a warm, brushed-satin tone, the bust captures the quiet gravitas of temple iconography, the kind refined across generations of South Indian and Bengali devotional silversmithing. Set at the heart of the composition is a genuine certified five mukhi Rudraksha, its five natural facets representing the five elements and the grace of Shiva, creating a rare confluence of Vaishnava and Shaiva reverence within a single piece. At 1.8 inches height by 1.2 inches width (approximately 4.6 cm by 3 cm) and a substantial 21 grams, the pendant has real physical presence without excess. Worn on a simple silver chain over a cream or ivory silk kurta, it becomes a centrepiece for Ekadashi observance or a temple visit. Equally, it anchors a fine cotton or chanderi ensemble at a family puja, where its quiet reverence speaks without effort. The free-size bail accommodates most chains, and the sterling silver construction resists tarnish with routine care. A lint-free cloth is all the maintenance it asks. Substantial enough to be noticed, restrained enough to be worn daily with meaning.
