Description

There are prayers that do not ask, only command the universe into order. The Baglamukhi Yantra is among the most potent of the Dus Mahavidya geometries, a diagram of divine authority rendered here in sterling silver with the precision that sacred iconography demands. Cast and finished by hand, the pendant holds the Yantra's interlocking triangles, lotus petals and bindu at its centre in clean, oxidised relief, the silver allowed to darken into the recessed lines so that the sacred geometry reads with absolute clarity against the polished outer field. At one and a half inches by one and a half inches (approximately 3.8 cm by 3.8 cm) and weighing eleven point eight grams, it carries genuine heft on the chain, the kind that makes itself known without being heavy. Sterling silver, known for its durability and its clean, cool lustre, is the right metal for a yantra: austere, unadorned, honest. Wear it on a long oxidised silver chain over a white cotton kurta for daily devotion, or layer it close to the throat above a deep-toned silk blouse on an auspicious occasion when the geometry itself becomes ornament. Free-sized for any wearer, the pendant suits both men and women. The oxidised finish requires no special care beyond keeping it away from harsh chemicals; a soft cloth restores its quiet gleam. The bail is sized to accommodate chains of varying widths, making it practical for everyday and ceremonial use alike.
