Description

There are pendants that merely ornament, and there are pendants that speak. The Shukra Yantra is the geometric diagram consecrated to Venus, the planet of beauty, abundance and creative force. Here it is rendered in 999 fineness pure silver, the highest grade of the metal, pressed and engraved into a circular disc of one inch (approximately 2.5 cm) in diameter, weighing a precise 5.76 grams. The yantra's interlocking lines and sacred geometry occupy one face with meditative clarity; turn the pendant and the Om symbol greets you on the reverse, transforming this into a two-sided talisman of rare intention. This tradition of sacred geometric jewellery has long roots in Rajasthan and Bengal, where silversmiths have cast devotional forms for temples and personal shrines alike. The finish is clean and unornamented, allowing the engraved geometry to hold its own light without distraction from stone or enamel work. Worn on a fine silver chain against a white or ivory kurta, the disc reads as an understated spiritual statement. For a more contemporary pairing, it sits beautifully at the neckline of a linen collarless shirt, equally at home at a gallery opening or a morning puja. At one inch across, the pendant rests comfortably at the collar or sternum on chains of varying lengths. The 999 silver is free of alloy tarnish common to lower grades, requiring only a soft cloth to restore its quiet, cool lustre over years of daily wear.
