Description

There are faces one recognises before one remembers them. Shrinathji, the beloved child-form of Lord Krishna enshrined at Nathdwara, is rendered here with quiet devotion in sterling silver. The pendant captures the iconic frontal face: the wide, lotus-shaped eyes, the characteristic crown implied in the raised silhouette, and the serene countenance that Vaishnava devotees across Rajasthan and Gujarat have venerated for centuries. At one point two five inches in height and zero point seven inches in width (approximately three point two centimetres by one point eight centimetres), the piece is compact yet fully resolved, weighing five point four six grams. Sterling silver, known for its cool lustre and structural integrity, suits a sacred motif well; the metal carries fine surface detail without the fragility of pure silver, allowing the karigars to preserve every subtle contour of the divine face. This is devotional jewellery in the oldest sense, neither ornamental conceit nor souvenir, but a wearable act of faith rooted in the bhakti tradition of the Pushtimarg. Thread it on a simple black cord for everyday puja mornings, or pair it with a hand-woven cotton or chanderi kurta for a considered, faith-forward look. It sits equally at ease beneath a silk dupatta on festive occasions when restraint speaks more eloquently than abundance. Free sized and suitable for any neck, the pendant arrives ready to wear. The sterling silver finish requires only occasional polishing with a soft cloth to retain its characteristic bright-white gleam through years of daily devotion.
