Description

Geometry as devotion, rendered in silver and copper. The Shri Yantra is among the most revered of Tantric diagrams: nine interlocking triangles radiating from a central bindu, encoding the entire cosmos in a single, unbroken form. Here, that sacred geometry is cast in sterling silver with a warm copper ground beneath, the bimetal pairing lending the pendant a richness that cold silver alone could not carry. At its heart and at key nodal points across the yantra, the nine stones of the Navaratna are set, each gemstone corresponding to a planetary deity in the Vedic tradition. The pendant measures approximately 3.8 cm in height and 3 cm in width, and weighs a substantial 12 grams, giving it a satisfying presence against the chest without being unwieldy. It is a piece firmly rooted in the devotional jewellery traditions of North India, where sacred geometry and lapidary craft have long moved as one. Worn on a fine silver chain, it sits beautifully against a raw silk or chanderi kurta for daily puja or a festival occasion. For the diaspora wearer, it reads with equal grace layered over a simple white linen shirt, a quiet declaration of heritage in an otherwise pared-back ensemble. The pendant comes in a single free size and requires no adjustment. The sterling silver and copper construction is suited to regular wear, and the finish holds well against everyday contact. The secure bail accommodates chains of varying thicknesses.
