Description

There are geometries that do not merely decorate the body; they address it. Pressed into a disc of 999 fineness pure silver, this Shukra Yantra carries the sacred geometric diagram of Venus, the graha of beauty, harmony and creative intelligence. The yantra's interlocking triangles, lotus petals and bindu point are engraved with the kind of quiet precision that belongs to a silversmithing tradition rooted in ritual object-making across Rajasthan and Bengal, where sacred diagrams were once pressed into consecrated metal for daily worship. At 999 fineness, the silver is as close to pure as the metal comes, its surface holding a soft, cool luminosity that no alloy can quite replicate. The pendant measures one inch in diameter (approximately 2.5 cm) and weighs 5.88 grams, a substantial presence without heaviness, the engravings catching light as the wearer moves. Worn on a fine silver chain against an ivory or deep-indigo Chanderi silk kurta, it reads as an act of quiet belief made visible. For the diaspora wearer, it pairs equally well with a white linen shirt, the yantra resting at the collarbone as a personal talisman rather than an ornament. The pendant is free-size by nature, accommodating any chain the wearer already owns. The 999 silver resists tarnish less readily than sterling, so occasional gentle polishing with a soft cloth keeps the engraved lines crisp. Light, purposeful and precise, it is made for daily devotion.
