Description

There are silences in geometry that only stone can fill. This semicircle pendant pairs the clean authority of sterling silver with a deep, ocean-flecked sodalite set within a half-moon frame. Sodalite, with its ink-blue ground threaded by white calcite veins, has long been prized for its meditative depth; here, it is held in a bezel of polished sterling silver that traces the flat edge and curved arc of the form with quiet precision. The setting is unfussy, almost architectural, allowing the stone's natural patterning to carry the composition. No engraving competes for attention, no filigree distracts. The pendant measures roughly two centimetres in height and three and a half centimetres in width (0.8 inch by 1.3 inch), with a depth of just under a centimetre, and weighs sixteen grams, giving it a pleasing, grounded presence against the collarbone.
