Description

Worn close to the heart, this is devotion cast in brass and made precise enough to pin to a lapel. The set pairs two pieces: a trishul lapel pin standing 3.3 inches (roughly 8.4 cm) tall and just an inch (2.5 cm) wide, and a Lord Shiva brooch measuring 2.3 inches (5.8 cm) in height by 1.75 inches (4.4 cm) in width. Together they weigh 32 grams, a presence that is felt without being heavy. Cast in brass and finished to a warm, antique-toned patina, the trishul carries its three prongs with clean, almost architectural resolve, while the Shiva brooch renders the deity in relief, the rudraksha beads woven into the composition as both ornament and symbol. Brass has a long history in temple metalwork across South India, particularly in Nagercoil and the Deccan belt, where artisans have shaped devotional forms using lost-wax and hand-finishing methods for generations. Pin the Shiva brooch to the left breast of a cream silk kurta for a Mahashivratri gathering; or wear the trishul lapel pin on a structured linen blazer for a cultural event or museum opening where the gesture is quietly understood. Both pieces use standard pin-back closures, secure and easy to fasten. Free size by nature, they require no adjustment and suit most lapels and necklines equally well. The brass finish ages gracefully with minimal care.
