Description

There is a particular stillness in a Kundan circle, the way it holds light without chasing it. This ring is built around a single round Kundan stone set into a broad brass face, its circumference traced by the close-set foiling technique that Jaipur's kaarigars have refined across generations. In Kundan work, pure gold foil is pressed between the stone and the metal bed to amplify luminosity from within; here, the same principle is applied to brass, making the craft accessible without diluting its visual grammar. The stone sits flush yet proud, its edges burnished smooth, the band open at the back in the adjustable style that allows the ring to be shaped to the finger rather than sized to a standard. It is offered in two saturations of colour: a deep lapis blue and a warm ceremonial red, each lending the central stone a different personality entirely. Pair the blue stone with a cream chanderi kurta and silver-toned earrings for a poetry reading or literary evening. The red variant finds natural company alongside a Banarasi blouse worn to a family puja or a daytime wedding festivity. The ring measures one inch in height and approximately 1.3 inches in width (roughly 2.5 cm by 3.3 cm), and weighs eleven grams, substantial enough to register on the hand but light enough to sit comfortably through hours of wear. The open-back band adjusts with gentle pressure across most adult finger sizes.
