Description

Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, rendered in silver that has learned to hold its breath. This rectangular pendant frames Chaturbhuja Ganesha, the four-armed form, within a silhouette that measures 1.25 inches in height by 0.75 inches in width (approximately 3.2 cm by 1.9 cm). Sterling silver, worked with evident care, captures the deity's characteristic attributes across four hands, each detail pressed or carved into the metal with the quiet authority of a silversmith who understands iconographic grammar. The rectangular frame itself is a conscious choice, lending the composition a shrine-like formality that circular pendants rarely achieve. At 7.44 grams, the piece carries a satisfying solidity without heaviness, and the silver's surface speaks of restrained craft rather than ornamental excess. Smaller 1 inch sizing (approximately 2.5 cm by 1.4 cm) is available for those who prefer a more intimate wear. Worn on a fine silver chain over a cream Chanderi kurta, this pendant becomes a daily devotional; slipped onto a slender cord and layered beneath a silk blouse at a puja or family celebration, it carries the gravity of an heirloom without demanding ceremony. Free size in fit, this pendant suits both a delicate and a standard chain. The sterling silver construction means it will not irritate skin, polishes easily with a soft cloth, and acquires over years the gentle patina that only lived-in silver knows.
