Description

Devotion, rendered in colour and silver, worn close to the heart. The name Radha Ramana, an epithet of Krishna that speaks of the one who delights Radha, sets the devotional register of this pendant immediately. Worked in sterling silver and finished with Meenakari enamel, the piece carries the visual language of Rajasthan's jewellery ateliers, where artisans have filled recessed silver with powdered glass pigments and fired them to a luminous, permanent depth. The motif, drawn from Vaishnava iconography, is rendered within a slim vertical silhouette measuring approximately 3.3 cm in height and 1.3 cm in width, weighing just five grams. The enamel work, likely in the vivid palette associated with Jaipur's meenakars, fills the engraved ground with colour that holds its brilliance without fading or chipping under daily wear. At the throat, this pendant reads quietly and with intention. Pair it on a delicate silver chain with an ivory or deep teal cotton kurta for a contemplative everyday look, or let it anchor a cream silk blouse worn beneath temple jewellery on a festive occasion. The pendant is free-sized and arrives ready to thread onto any fine chain. Sterling silver, at this modest weight of five grams, sits without strain against the collarbone. The enamel surface is smooth to the touch, and the piece requires only gentle handling to remain as vivid as the devotion it commemorates.
