Description

There are rings you wear, and then there are rings that speak first. This statement piece draws from the Rajasthani Polki tradition, where uncut diamond-like foil-backed stones are set without heat, preserving the raw, lunar quality of each facet. Here, a halo of blush-pink beading rings a central Polki cluster, the beads lending a softness that tempers the boldness of the silhouette. The setting is worked in brass, a metal long favoured by Jaipur's karigar workshops for its warm, antique-gold tone and its ability to hold intricate fretwork without losing definition. The ring measures approximately 2.8 cm in height and 4.3 cm in width, and its adjustable shank makes the fit a considered gesture rather than a constraint. At 22 grams, the piece carries genuine presence on the hand. Wear it against a silk chanderi kurta in ivory for a festive lunch, where the pink and brass read as deliberately curated. For a wedding occasion, pair it with a heavily embroidered lehenga in a neutral or blush tone, and allow the ring to carry the weight of the hand's ornamentation without competition. The adjustable band accommodates most finger sizes comfortably; the brass construction is sturdy enough for regular festive wear. Store away from moisture and direct sunlight to preserve the finish and the brightness of the Polki setting over time.
