Description

There are geometries that do not merely decorate; they consecrate. The Shri Yantra is perhaps the most complete of all sacred diagrams: nine interlocking triangles radiating outward from a bindu point, encoding the entire cosmology of the Shakta tradition within a single, breathtaking pattern. Here, that pattern is rendered in sterling silver on both faces of the pendant, so the yantra is never absent, whichever way the piece turns. The silverwork is precise and unhurried, tracing each triangle and concentric lotus ring with the quiet authority of a craft that has long found its home in the temple-jewellery traditions of Rajasthan and South India alike. At 1.2 inches tall and 0.8 inches wide (approximately 3 cm by 2 cm), the pendant sits close to the collarbone, compact and considered. It weighs just 4 grams, so the metal never overwhelms the meaning it carries. Wear it on a fine sterling or oxidised silver chain over a cream Chanderi kurta for a morning of reflection, or let it rest against a silk blouse at a festive gathering where understated faith speaks more eloquently than ornament. The pendant is free-size by nature and suited to chains of varying lengths depending on the drape desired. Sterling silver's cool, satin surface will deepen gently with wear and respond well to light polishing, keeping the geometry crisp and readable for years without fuss.
