Description

There are prayers that do not need words, only geometry. The Navagraha Yantra is among the most precise devotional forms in the Vedic tradition, a grid of numerals and sacred lines whose arrangement is believed to harmonise the nine planetary forces that govern fate and fortune. This pendant carries that yantra on both its faces, making it a talisman that works in the round, never showing a plain side to the world. Cast in 999 fine silver, the purest grade of the metal, the surface holds the engraved diagram with quiet authority, the lines clean and deliberate, the finish matte-bright in the manner of silver that has not been diluted by alloy. At 1.3 inches (approximately 3.3 cm) in height and 1 inch (approximately 2.5 cm) in width, and weighing just under six grams at 5.88 g, the pendant sits close to the sternum without pulling at the chain, its compact silhouette shaped for daily, unobtrusive devotion. Wear it on a fine silver rope chain beneath a white cotton kurta for morning prayers, or let it rest over a silk blouse at a family gathering where its meaning will be recognised and respected by those who look closely. The free-size pendant suits any neck length and carries no fragile settings to snag or loosen. The 999 silver develops a gentle patina over time, which only deepens the engraved lines and lends the piece the earned gravity of something genuinely used.
