Description

There are statements a ring makes before a single word is spoken. This piece belongs to the tradition of densely jewelled cocktail rings that flourished in the ateliers of Jaipur and Bikaner, where brass was never considered a lesser metal but a deliberate canvas for maximalist stone-setting. The broad, ornate face, measuring approximately 2.9 cm in height and 3.7 cm in width, is encrusted with American diamonds arranged in tight, regimented clusters across a sculpted setting that recalls the layered architecture of Rajasthani haveli screens. The stones are set in prong-and-bezel formations, catching light from multiple angles. Weighing 20 grams, the ring carries satisfying presence on the hand without feeling cumbersome. It is offered in two considered colour-ways: a deep, forest-toned dark green and a cooler, translucent sea green, each lending the piece an entirely distinct mood.
