Description

There are prayers that need no words, only form. The Om symbol has anchored devotion across centuries of Indian silversmithing, and this pendant renders it with quiet precision in sterling silver. At 1.5 inches wide and 1.3 inches tall (approximately 3.8 cm by 3.3 cm), the silhouette is neither miniature nor overstated: it occupies the sternum with the calm authority of a mantra held in the body. Faceted gemstones are set across the surface, their cut faces catching light and returning it as small, scattered sparks against the silver ground. The combination belongs to a long tradition of devotional jewellery in which coloured stone and white metal are used together to give sacred geometry both weight and warmth. Weighing 10 grams, the piece sits on the chest with genuine presence, the sterling lending it a cool, burnished quality that deepens with wear. Worn over a cream silk kurta for a festival morning, it reads as an heirloom. Paired with a fine white linen shirt for a quieter occasion, it becomes a personal talisman that needs no explanation. The pendant is finished to a standard size, suited to most chains already in a collection. The sterling silver construction means it is durable for daily wear; storing it wrapped in anti-tarnish cloth will preserve its surface between wearings. The 10 gram weight ensures it hangs evenly without pulling.
