Description

There are syllables older than language, and this pendant carries one of them close to the heart. Cast in sterling silver, the pendant renders the sacred Om symbol through a technique of careful inlay work, where contrasting material is set flush into the recessed body of the piece to define each curve of the Devanagari form with quiet precision. The result sits between devotional craft and wearable art. At 1.2 inches (approximately 3 cm) in height and 0.9 inches (roughly 2.3 cm) in width, the pendant is intimate in scale, weighing just one gram, so it rests without burden. The silverwork draws from a long tradition of devotional jewellery made across Rajasthan and South India, where the Om motif has appeared on amulets and temple ornaments for centuries, never merely decorative but always intentional. Wear this pendant on a fine silver chain over a white cotton kurta for morning prayer or quiet study; it sits equally at home against the neckline of a silk sari blouse at a puja gathering, where its understated script reads as both personal and communal devotion. Because the piece is free size and requires only a chain of your choosing, it adapts without alteration. The sterling silver carries a cool, matte-adjacent finish that resists ostentation, and its featherlight one gram weight makes it a pendant one may genuinely forget is being worn, until the moment someone notices it and asks.
