Description

Nine stones, one ancient intention: to hold every planet's blessing within a single circle of silver. The Navaratna is one of India's oldest talismanic compositions, a precise arrangement of nine gems representing the Navagrahas, each stone assigned its celestial body by Vedic tradition. Here, that constellation is set into a round-shaped sterling silver ring, the stones clustered in their prescribed order within a raised, collet-style setting that lets each gem catch light independently. Sterling silver, with its cool, luminous surface, suits the Navaratna particularly well: it neither competes with the stones' varied colours nor overwhelms the careful symmetry of the arrangement. The ring stands 19 mm in height, giving it a presence that is architectural without being unwieldy, and weighs 8.58 grams, substantial enough to feel considered on the finger, restrained enough for daily devotion. The finish is clean and polished, consistent with the silver's natural brightness. Wear this ring to a festival pooja, paired with a Kanjivaram silk and gold temple jewellery, where its protective symbolism carries full meaning. It reads equally well against the sleeve of an embroidered kurta at a family gathering, a quiet flourish that needs no explanation. Available in sizes 8 and 8.5, the ring offers a confident fit for most adult fingers. Sterling silver polishes easily with a soft cloth, and the closed-back setting keeps the stones securely seated through everyday wear.
