Description

She guards the threshold between devotion and adornment, and she does so in sterling silver. Mogal Maa, venerated across Gujarat and Rajasthan as a fierce and luminous protector, is rendered here in fine sterling silver with the precision that this rare regional goddess deserves. The pendant measures approximately 4.06 cm in height and 2.16 cm in width, and weighs 8.44 grams, a substantive presence against the chest without ever feeling heavy. The silverwork follows the tradition of repousse and hand-finishing practised by silversmiths in communities where sacred iconography and ornamental craft have always been inseparable. Every plane of the goddess's face, crown and surround is modelled with quiet intention, the surface carrying a warm oxidised or burnished finish that brings the relief detailing into full relief. Sterling silver at this weight holds its form and its meaning across decades. Wear this pendant on a fine silver chain over ivory or off-white handloom cotton for daily puja visits or festive mornings. For a more assembled occasion look, layer it over a deep indigo silk kurta where the silver's cool tone reads as both devotional and considered. At free size with a standard bail, this pendant accepts most chain gauges readily. The sterling silver construction resists tarnish with minimal care, a quick buff with a soft cloth after wear is sufficient. Compact enough for everyday use, weighty enough to feel intentional, it is a piece made for those who carry their faith quietly and elegantly.
