Description

She stands at the sixth petal of devotion, fierce and luminous, carried now in fine silver at your throat. Cast in 999 pure silver, one of the highest grades the metal achieves, this pendant honours Maa Katyayani in her warrior aspect, the sixth form of Durga, invoked for courage, clarity and the dissolution of obstacles. The obverse face renders her image with the quiet conviction of devotional silversmithing, a tradition with deep roots in temple towns across Rajasthan and the Deccan, where karigars have long understood that sacred iconography demands stillness of hand above all else. Turn the pendant and you encounter the Katyayani Yantra, its geometric lattice of triangles and bindu pressed into the same unbroken field of silver, transforming a wearable ornament into a devotional object complete on both sides. At approximately 2.5 cm height by 2.3 cm width and a grounded 5.3 grams, the piece sits with presence without imposing weight. Wear it on a fine silver chain over a silk kurta in deep red or ochre for Navratri pujas, or layer it against a simple white cotton kurti on ordinary days when you want to carry something quietly sacred into the world. The free-size pendant suits any neck and pairs with chains of varying lengths. The 999 silver surface, unalloyed and bright, resists tarnish well with occasional gentle polishing and rewards long, faithful wearing.
