Description

There are prayers that do not need words, only metal shaped with intention. This pendant renders Lord Hanuman's gada, the mace that is his eternal emblem of strength and devotion, in sterling silver, with a trishul symbol worked into the composition to bind two of Hinduism's most potent iconographies into a single, quietly powerful form. The silhouette is spare and linear, measuring one inch in height (approximately 2.5 cm) by a quarter inch in width (approximately 0.6 cm), the silver finished to a clean, cool lustre that allows the form itself to carry meaning. Weighing just 1.8 grams, the piece sits without burden against the chest. Silver of this kind, without the distraction of stones or enamel, belongs to a long tradition of devotional metalwork in which simplicity is itself an act of reverence. Worn on a fine silver chain, it sits naturally at the collar of a white kurta on a Monday morning visit to the temple, or disappears quietly beneath a formal shirt, present only to the wearer. It pairs equally well with the clean lines of a Nehru-collar jacket at a family puja gathering, where its restraint reads as considered rather than understated. At free size, the pendant requires no adjustment and suits a range of chain weights and lengths already in your collection. The sterling silver construction means it holds its finish with ordinary care, and at 1.8 grams it is light enough for daily, uninterrupted wear.
