Description

There are rings made to be worn, and then there are rings made to be remembered. Kundan work traces its oldest roots to the royal ateliers of Rajasthan, where karigars in Jaipur and Bikaner perfected the art of setting uncut stones into a core of refined lac, then surrounding each stone with sheets of pure gold foil pressed flush against the girdle. This piece carries that lineage into brass, a metal with its own warm, antique resonance, lending the ring a weight and depth that feels entirely intentional rather than incidental. The characteristic flat-set Kundan stones sit within a foiled bezel, their surfaces catching light as a still pool does, and the surround of worked brass gives the composition a satisfying solidity. The colour, exactly as pictured, reads rich and golden-toned, with the stones offering their quiet, luminous contrast. No specific measurements have been provided for this piece, so sizing is best confirmed directly with the team before ordering. Wear it alone on the index finger over a chanderi silk kurta for a formal lunch, or stack it against a plain gold band for a contemporary fusion bridal look that still honours classical craft. Crafted in brass, the ring asks for minimal upkeep: avoid prolonged contact with water and perfume, store it wrapped in a soft cloth, and the Kundan setting will hold its poise season after season. Priced at Rs 2,495.
