Description

There are currents the eye cannot see, and this pendant is made for those who believe in them. The Kundalini motif has long occupied the devotional imagination of the subcontinent, coiling upward through the body's invisible architecture in a symbol that predates most organised faiths. Here, the form is rendered in sterling silver, a metal prized for its cool lustre and its willingness to hold fine detail without the weight of gold. The silhouette spirals with intention, the line work clean and deliberate, the surface carrying that characteristic oxidised or polished finish typical of artisan silverwork from centres such as Jaipur and Bikaner, where karigars have worked this metal across generations. At just three grams, the piece sits almost weightlessly at the throat, its pendant face measuring approximately one inch (2.54 cm) in length and 0.6 inch (roughly 1.5 cm) in width, suspended on a standard string closure. For daily wear, thread it on a fine silver chain over a white cotton kurta for a quietly spiritual midweek look. For an evening occasion, let it rest against the neckline of a silk blouse, where the silver catches candlelight without competing with embroidery. Because it weighs only three grams and measures within a single inch of length, this pendant travels well and layers easily. Sterling silver requires occasional gentle polishing to preserve its brightness, and the free-size string makes it adaptable to most necklines without adjustment.
