Description

The chakra turns slowly in the mind long before it turns at the throat. Rooted in the ancient geometry of the yantra, the chakra is one of India's most enduring sacred symbols, a wheel of cosmic order rendered here in sterling silver with a precision that honours its metaphysical weight. The pendant measures approximately 4.3 cm in height and 4.1 cm in width, its spoked form cut and set with a central green onyx cabochon whose cool, translucent depth anchors the silver's bright oxidised detailing. Green onyx, prized across Rajasthani silver traditions for its composed mineral clarity, carries the suggestion of renewal and stillness. The silver framework around it, likely worked in a casting tradition familiar to Jaipur's silver ateliers, traces each spoke with deliberate, unhurried line. At 17 grams, the pendant has genuine presence without feeling heavy on the chain. Wear it against a fine ivory or ecru kurta for a contemplative daytime look, letting the silver oxidation read against natural cloth.
