Description

There are devotions that do not need an occasion. This pendant brings together a certified Five Mukhi Rudraksha bead and a sterling silver frame shaped entirely around the seated form of Lord Ganesha. The Rudraksha, one of the most revered sacred beads in Hindu tradition, is set at the heart of the composition, cradled within silverwork that depicts Ganesha in his familiar posture: trunk gently curved, modak held in blessing, the divine rotundity of his figure rendered with quiet fidelity in oxidised sterling silver. Five Mukhi Rudrakshas carry their own ancient authority, long associated with clarity, protection and the grace of Lord Shiva. The silver casting stays close to tradition in weight and proportion, the pendant measuring approximately 3.8 cm in height and 1.5 cm in width, and weighing a considered 9 grams, enough to carry presence without burden. Worn on a plain black waxed cord against a white kurta for morning prayer, or suspended on a sterling silver chain beneath a silk blouse for a festive lunch, this pendant moves without self-consciousness between the devotional and the quietly ornamental. The Free Size format means the pendant suits most chains or cords already in your collection. The sterling silver is finished to hold its detail well, and the Rudraksha's natural surface texture contrasts handsomely with the smooth metalwork. Everyday wear is entirely practical.
