Description

A heart held in bloom, rendered in silver and light. The brooch takes its form from a universal symbol, yet speaks in the quieter dialect of the silversmith's workshop. A floral silhouette frames a heart at its centre, the petals and curves worked in sterling silver hallmarked to 925 purity. Set across the face are zircon stones, placed to catch the light and hold it, their cool, glassy brilliance lending the piece a restrained sparkle that never overwhelms. At just 1.1 inches in height and 0.8 inches in width (approximately 2.8 cm by 2 cm), and weighing a gentle 4 grams, this is a brooch conceived for intimacy rather than spectacle.
