Description

There is a particular quiet that belongs to green onyx, the colour of still water seen through stone. This ring is cut with intention. The faceted green onyx cabochon catches light at each plane, refracting it in the cool, layered tones the stone is known for: deep forest one moment, pale celadon the next. Set in sterling silver with a low, structured bezel that holds the stone at nine millimetres height, the design borrows from the spare geometries of contemporary Indian silversmithing without abandoning the weight and seriousness that fine handcrafted work demands. Sterling silver, worked without gilding or plating, has its own honesty. It oxidises gently over years, building a patina that only deepens the character of the piece. At two grams, the ring sits lightly on the finger, the silhouette clean and architectural rather than ornate. The piece is also offered in labradorite, a stone of entirely different temperament. Worn alone, it reads as a considered, understated choice for a formal meeting or an evening out in a silk kurta. Paired with other simple silver bands, it anchors a curated stack that suits linen and handloom cotton equally well, moving comfortably between weekend and occasion. Available in sizes 4.75 through 7.5, the ring accommodates most finger widths. Sterling silver requires only occasional polishing with a soft cloth to restore its lustre, and the bezel setting protects the stone's edges reliably through daily wear.
