Description

There are flowers that bloom in gardens, and flowers that bloom in silver. This ring is built around a single stylised flower, its petals each occupied by a faceted gemstone: deep amethyst, warm garnet and sun-coloured citrine arranged in a cluster that catches light from every angle. The setting is sterling silver, worked to hold the stones close and low, so the bloom reads as one cohesive form rather than a scattering of colour. At twenty-three millimetres in height, the ring carries genuine presence on the hand without crossing into the theatrical. The combination of purple, red and amber belongs to a long tradition in Indian silversmithing, where polychrome stones were used to mimic the garden in miniature, a sensibility alive in workshop traditions stretching from Jaipur to Bengal. The piece weighs ten grams, substantial enough to feel considered when worn. For a winter wedding, pair it with a deep plum or burgundy silk sari and let the amethyst and garnet speak directly to the fabric. In quieter everyday life, it sits beautifully against a cream cotton kurta, bringing warmth without effort, the citrine doing the work of a full afternoon sun. The sterling silver band is finished smoothly at the shank for comfort across long wear. The ring arrives in a standard size and the height of twenty-three millimetres ensures the flower motif is clearly visible without snagging on fabric. A reliable, wearable piece for those who prefer their colour in stone rather than enamel.
