Description

There is a particular quiet pleasure in holding a stone up to winter light and watching it give colour back. This pendant pairs a faceted amethyst with a faceted citrine, set side by side in sterling silver, and the effect is of dusk held still: one stone deepening into violet, the other warming into amber gold. The silverwork is clean and considered, a slender bezel or prong cradle cradling each stone so that light can enter from multiple angles and the facets do their slow, refractive work. Sterling silver, with its cool blue-white surface, acts as a neutral scaffold here, allowing neither stone to dominate the other. The pendant measures approximately three centimetres in height and just under two centimetres in width (1.2 inches by 0.75 inches), and at three grams it sits without weight against the collarbone. Wear it on a fine silver chain over a dove-grey chanderi kurta for afternoon occasions where you wish to be noticed without announcing yourself. It reads just as well suspended over the neckline of a wine-coloured cotton dress for an evening gathering among friends who understand restraint as its own form of expression. The free-size pendant arrives ready to thread onto any chain of your choosing, so the length becomes entirely your decision. At three grams, it is light enough for daily wear, settles flat against the skin, and asks very little of you in return for what it quietly, unhurriedly offers.
