Description

She is the seventh Mahavidya, the goddess of the unseen, and this yantra carries her geometry with quiet authority. Cast in sterling silver and finished to a cool, muted sheen, the Dhumavati Yantra pendant renders the sacred geometric diagram of the goddess in precise, interlocking lines. Yantras of this kind belong to a long tradition of devotional metalwork found across temple towns from Bengal to Varanasi, where silversmiths have translated tantric cosmology into wearable form for centuries. The pendant measures 1.15 inches in height by 0.90 inches in width (approximately 2.9 cm by 2.3 cm), and weighs a considered 3 grams, keeping the proportions close enough to read the yantra's concentric geometry clearly without overwhelming the neckline. Sterling silver, with its characteristic warmth against skin, makes this an intimate, meditative object rather than a decorative statement. Wear it on a fine oxidised silver chain over a handloom cotton sari for a contemplative everyday offering, or layer it close to a high-necked raw silk blouse at a festive occasion where jewellery is chosen for meaning as much as beauty. Free-sized with a standard bail suited to chains of varied widths, the piece requires only occasional polishing with a soft silver cloth to restore its lustre. At 3 grams, it sits flat and light through long days of wear.
