Description

There is something quietly ancient about a circle of malachite set in silver, as though the stone itself remembers the earth it came from. Malachite has been prized across civilisations for its deep, banded greens, those concentric rings of forest and shadow that no two stones repeat in quite the same way. Here, a single circular cabochon sits flush within a sterling silver bezel, the metal burnished to a cool, satin finish that lets the stone's natural patterning do the talking. The silhouette is architectural without being severe: a wide, flat disc, sixteen millimetres in height, that reads as both modern and quietly referential to the bold stone-set silver traditions practised by artisans across Rajasthan and the silver-working quarters of Jaipur. At ten grams, the ring carries genuine weight on the finger, the kind that reminds you it is there. For evening, wear it against a handwoven chanderi kurta in ivory or deep indigo, where the green reads as a considered accent rather than an ornament. For day, it companions a linen blazer and plain cotton with the ease of something chosen rather than assembled. Available in sizes six through nine and a half, the ring is crafted entirely in sterling silver, making it suitable for daily wear and gentle enough for sensitive skin. The bezel setting protects the malachite's edges, ensuring the stone stays secure through the ordinary rhythms of a well-lived day.
