Description

Devotion, rendered in pure silver, worn close to the heart. Chaturbhuja Vishnu stands at the centre of this pendant, his four arms each bearing the conch, the discus, the lotus and the mace, cast in 999 fine silver with the quiet authority of a tradition rooted in temple iconography. Turn the piece and the Mahasudarshan Yantra reveals itself on the reverse, a geometric cosmogram of concentric forms that has been a devotional object in its own right across centuries of Hindu ritual practice. At roughly 1 inch in height by 0.9 inch in width (approximately 2.5 cm by 2.3 cm), the pendant is compact yet considered; its 5.5 gram weight gives it a reassuring presence without excess. The surface finish, worked in bright silver, allows every line of the iconography to read clearly, the deity and the yantra together forming a talisman that is as meditative as it is wearable. Slide it onto a fine silver chain for daily puja, or wear it against an ivory cotton kurta for a puja gathering or festival visit to the temple. Layered over deep silk at a family religious occasion, it carries spiritual intent without ostentation. Because this is a free-size pendant requiring only a chain threaded through its bail, it suits any neckline. The pure 999 silver needs only a soft cloth to restore its brightness, and its modest dimensions ensure it rests comfortably even on extended wear.
