Description

There are prayers that need no words, only form. Chaturbhuja, the four-armed one, is among Ganesha's most auspicious aspects, each hand holding an attribute of divine grace. Cast in sterling silver, this pendant renders that sacred geometry with quiet confidence: the broad, rounded silhouette of the seated Vighnaharta, four arms in careful proportion, a belly that carries the ease of abundance. At roughly 1.1 inches in height and 0.7 inches in width (approximately 2.8 cm by 1.8 cm), the composition is intimate rather than declarative. Sterling silver, worked to a warm oxidised finish, gives the surface its depth, allowing the relief of the modak, the lotus and the goad to read clearly against shadow. At 4.3 grams, the weight is substantial enough to feel like an intention when held, yet light enough to forget once worn. This is devotional silverwork in the tradition of temple-jewellery artisans across South India and Rajasthan, where the deity is not embellished but honoured through restraint. Thread it on a fine black silk cord for daily puja mornings, or layer it over an ivory cotton kurta at a family naming ceremony, where its reverence will be immediately understood. For festival dressing, pair it close to the collar of a kanjeevaram silk blouse, where the silver reads crisp against woven gold. Sized to suit all, the pendant arrives ready to wear. Its oxidised sterling silver resists tarnish well with minimal care, making it a companion for both the sacred and the ordinary.
