Description

She who holds the universe in her palm, now rests quietly at your throat. The Bhuvaneshwari Yantra is among the most contemplative of sacred geometries, a cosmological map of the goddess who is space itself, the matrix from which all creation unfolds. Rendered here in sterling silver, the pendant translates that metaphysical precision into a piece of wearable devotion. The yantra's interlocking triangles, lotus petals and outer enclosure, known as the bhupura, are engraved with the kind of fine line work that has long been the province of silver craftsmen working in the traditions of Rajasthan and Bengal, where sacred objects and personal adornment have never been considered separate concerns. The oxidised detailing, characteristic of antique-finish silverwork, draws each geometric layer into sharp relief, allowing the eye to travel inward, tier by tier, toward the bindu at the centre. The pendant measures approximately 2.9 cm in height and 2.3 cm in width, and weighs a settled 3.08 grams. Wear it on a fine silver chain over an off-white handloom kurta for a Tuesday morning that begins with intention, or let it fall against a silk sari blouse at an intimate puja gathering, where the piece will read as both heirloom and living practice. At free size, it suits any chain gauge comfortably. The sterling silver body is sturdy enough for daily wear without feeling heavy, and the oxidised finish resists fading with ordinary care.
