Description

Hanuman Dada, rendered in silver, carries the weight of devotion with the quietness of something worn close to the skin. Bhurakhiya Hanuman, the beloved presiding deity of the Bhurakhiya temple tradition, is a form revered particularly in Rajasthan and across communities who carry their faith with them wherever they go. This pendant captures his face in sterling silver, the features worked with the kind of attentive hand-finishing that transforms a flat sheet of metal into an expression: the brow composed, the presence unmistakable. Sterling silver was the choice of craftsmen who understood that pure metal holds detail without compromise, and at 9.9 grams the pendant has genuine heft, the kind that settles against the chest and stays. The silhouette measures approximately 3.6 cm in height and 2.4 cm in width, compact enough to sit neatly in the hollow of the throat, substantial enough to be seen and felt. Wear this on a fine silver chain against a plain white kurta for a morning of quiet observance, or let it rest against a raw-silk blouse at a gathering where faith and celebration meet without apology. It belongs to both registers equally. Free size in the sense that matters: the pendant fits any chain you already love, and its proportions suit a range of necklines. The sterling silver will develop a gentle patina over time, which only deepens the sense that this piece has a life of its own.
