Description

Hanuman Dada, protector and beloved, rendered in the luminous language of Meenakari enamel. The pendant takes its name and devotion from Bhurakhiya Hanuman Dada, a venerated form of the deity whose iconography carries a particular weight in Rajasthani and Gujarati religious sentiment. Here, that reverence is translated into sterling silver through the ancient discipline of Meenakari, a craft whose finest practitioners have long been centred in Jaipur. Fired enamel, applied in careful layers over a sterling silver base, builds the figure's form in warm, saturated colour, the finish glowing with the characteristic depth that only kiln-work produces. At one point five five inches in height and one inch wide (roughly three point nine centimetres by two point five centimetres), the pendant carries presence without bulk, its twelve grams sitting comfortably against the chest with a quiet solidity that speaks of genuine silversmithing rather than hollow fabrication. For daily devotion, pair this pendant on a simple black silk cord over a white cotton kurta, or thread it onto a fine silver chain and wear it with a silk georgette saree in ivory or deep ochre for festive puja occasions. The piece is offered in free size, intended to be strung on your own cord or chain according to preference. Sterling silver at this weight wears well against skin, resists casual knocks, and responds beautifully to a soft cloth polish, ensuring the enamel retains its vibrancy over years of faithful wear.
